Hi Jane saw ur note on design comments....why don't u think along d line of hotplate/rice cooker cum beer can cooler concept. compress the items to desk top size with corkboard insulation btn hot n cold compartment. Try out with a manual push/pull for d hot feature. (auto CD movement later lah!)

u can design the hot feature to b the same as the cold feature. Its good to start with a cup noodle size which is close to d beer can size. Future designs can expand on the sizes. My concept for d pullout hot feature is for ultilizing both hot n cold features operating at the same time. u can design it snazzy... imagine hot snack n cold drink on every desk in class....lets hv a party !!! hahaha...
